. [ woof. ]

Who knew that when I moved to Gorham I'd fall in love with a hyperactive boxer with a frighteningly adorable under-bite? Goodness, she's cute. Cuddles, playing, and personality-plus ... could we ask for more?

I hope there's something this sweet in your life this Monday morning!

. { it's a dog's life }

Life's tough when you're this stinkin' cute, huh?

OK, I just had to share that with you this morning. After all, the roommate and I spent several minutes laughing at her last night, I thought you might enjoy as well!

. { life as of late: according to my iphone }

Here are a few shots of what my life has looked like the last few days ... according to my iPhone, of course. You know, I realized that I own six cameras the other day, and I take pictures on my phone 90% of the time. Kind of ridiculous.

As you can see, my Gorham life looks a little different from Ptown life. The boxer with the magnificent underbite is Indigo. She belongs to one of my new roommates. The sunrises over the farm down the hill are gorgeous. They are surprisingly putting the sunrises over Casco Bay to shame. I must say, in the midst of all the chaos of moving, I'm finding the quietness of living in the middle of farm land quite calming. It feels homey and natural. I am a country girl at heart, really. I like tractors and trucks, I listen to country music, and I somewhat shamelessly own a Budwiser sweatshirt with camo on it (double whammy on the fashion tragedy, right?).

Well, peoples, we've made it to Wednesday. Here's to making it through the rest of the week! Hopefully there will be some more quiet mornings coming your way too.

{wanna go for a ride?}

It's a beautiful day here, and I feel like this dog!
I wanna-go-fer-a-ride! (said in high pitched voice)

I think these cards from SeeSaw Letterpress are neat.

Nesting Newbies is a great online magazine that I stumbled
upon the other day. This look is called "Urban Femme." Minus
the heavy drapes, I love this look! Especially the zebra rug.

9.

It's the Tuesday of finals... and I'm going crazy.
(But not crazy enough to not share these:)

Love the idea of using old wine bottles on a dinner table!

Recently, I did some family photos for a friend and her brother.
They'll use these for a family Christmas present.

We took several of them together, and then a
few with their adorable puppy Macy! What a goof.

Last night I went in to Williams and Sonoma to pick up some
Christmas presents and saw this wreath. I want a place to hang
one like it! Or maybe the money to shop there routinely...

I'm excited to go home for Christmas! I'm definitely looking
forward to hanging out with the sister. This photo reminds me
of something we would do!

Only 9 days until Christmas!

and so the thesis goes...

And so the week begins. . .
Lately I've been consumed by three things:
1. Breaking and entering for fun photo shoots
2. Finding time to do homework while I'm at work
3. Studying my butt off for my EMT-B National test

In between all that, I've had my eye on these...

This top is from Forever 21, and it is adorable.
(I think I may have a slight problem with bow-obsession).

Old Soul New Heart continues to have fab headbands and necklaces.
So vintage and fun. I think my Gram Vance may have had something like this?

Also, this is the EMS jump kit I'm looking into. It's me-sized.
I'll probably get it unstocked and steal stuff from security!

Indie Mod has fab clothes.... end of story.

The other weekend, we got a little bored and went
to Pawz and Clawz to play with some puppies!
Dorky? Yes. Fun? Absolutely. I don't really like small dogs,
but this Schnoodle (Schnauzer + Poodle = Schnoodle)
became the love of my life. So happy, so bouncy, so cuddly,
and SO apartment-sized... and he loved to give kisses.

This weekend we met up at the Marshall Estate:

The sun was just right, so I made her stop and snapped a few like this. I love her blonde hair in the sun, it glows so perfectly!

The sun started getting low, and our friend Jack the Fox
was watching the whole time, but she kept hitting it right!
I love the light in this photo.

Who can resist moldy, crumbling wallpaper,
dingy lace curtains, and a dusty organ?

All in all, we had fun running around the property
and chasing our fox friend. Hopefully my professors
enjoy viewing these as much as I enjoyed
shooting and printing them!

Across the Universe has got to be one of my favorite movies... here's the trailer. I listen to the soundtrack religiously too. What is it that we love about the Beatles SO much?
