{ welcome home, boys. welcome home. }

There is no greater day than Opening Day at Fenway!

Just think, Sunday night I will be doing the following things:

1. Listening to Tessie and other Dropkick favorites on the T on the way to the ballpark
2. At Fenway Park watching the Sox take on the Yanks in Game 3 with a wonderful friend.
3. Cheering like a moron for my team loudly and obnoxiously.
4. Singing Sweet Caroline with hundreds of people at the Bottom of the 8th (love).
5. Lamenting my devouring of a Fenway Frank and a few beers ... it's going to happen.
6. Riding the T back home either a) on a natural high of happiness or b) saddened by a loss.

Lets hope for A.

{ sox season is here ... }

Boston Red Sox season is here to stay, and that little gem makes this New England fan very happy. I can't wait for all of those fun things that couple so nicely with baseball ... Grilling on the deck while listening to announcers screaming on the radio about another walk off, spilling my drink when I get excited about a very bad call, arguing with my Yankees fan friends (remind me why I still hang out with them?), and feeling my heart swell with pride every time I hear Sweet Caroline or Tessie come on the radio ...

Know what the best part about this season is? I have tickets this time.

a-frame magic!

This A-frame house is so peaceful looking!

This summer it is my goal to learn to throw pottery...
... and no, I don't mean against the wall. That I can do.

Last night I watched the boy playing SMCC baseball in
Old Orchard til 1am! Sadly, the boys didn't make it,
but I enjoyed watching them play a good ball game
(despite the 38 degree weather).

today is humpday: thank goodness

Today is Wednesday, and thank goodness for that. After working all weekend, my week is shaping up to be the longest I've had in a long time! Here are some things I'm finding interesting to start my mid-week morning:
Last night was the All-Star Game between the American and National Leagues, and the American League won as always. It was the first time me and the boy got to cheer for the same baseball team! (He's a Yankees fan, I've chosen the correct team--Boston).

Tonight is the final for my EMT-B class... eek!

Every day on my lunch break I watch TLC's What Not to Wear.
Should you be on the show? This quiz may enlighten you.

I love this necklace from Free People.
(They also have tons of fun clothes)

I've been looking through my old photos from classes and just random on-the-sly shots, and I'm realizing that I am obsessed with clouds. They're puffy, there's tons of texture, tones, and a lot of contrast to be captured... maybe it all stems from cloud watching when we were little. Regardless, I am obsessed with taking pictures of clouds!

Cupcakes and Cashmere is a great little blog I found today.

The Polaroid Photography of Grant Hamilton is odd/cool.
